lyric toolchain default or remove, or LYRIC_TOOLCHAIN, names a version that is not installed, remove names the default or the toolchain that runs the command, update finds no default, an installed toolchain a command is handed to cannot be run, or config.toml under LYRIC_HOME is not one the toolchain reads. The exit code is 2.

Explanation

The toolchains live under ~/.lyric — or the directory LYRIC_HOME names —, each in toolchains/<version>/; config.toml holds the one key default, and bin is a link to the default's directory. The default cannot be removed before another is made the default, nor can the toolchain a command runs from remove itself.

Install the version first, make another the default (lyric toolchain default <version>), or run the removal from another toolchain.
